Zeegt Resources Estimate Updated to JORC 2012 Code

September 2019

Saker Resources is pleased to announce that RPMGlobal Asia Limited, an independent technical consultant based in Australia, has completed a new Zeegt Coking Coal Mine Resources Estimate to JORC 2012 Code standard.

The Resources Estimate confirm coking coal resources of 100.8 Mt as detailed below:

This new Resources Estimate represents an increase of 9.4 Mt compared to Zeegt’s previous Resources Estimate.  The new Resources Estimate also noted that Zeegt’s coal is predominantly high CV, low – medium VM, and low – medium ash content.

Saker Resources’ Zeegt Coking Coal Mine is an open-cut semi-soft coking coal development located in southwest Mongolia, 159 km west of the company’s Shinejinst Coking Coal Mine and 413 km by unpaved road to the Mongolia-China border by Burgastai.  China is the world’s largest consumer and importer of coking coal, providing a ready market for Zeegt’s semi-soft coking coal.
